What should I bring to the Teddybear Hospital?

The children should take their own cuddly toy with them when they spend the day in the teddy bear hospital. In addition, the children should already come up with a background story for their cuddly toy, whether the cuddly toy has a broken arm or a sore throat, there are no limits to your imagination.

Can I do anything with my class or child in preparation for the event?

We kindly ask you to discuss health and illness in advance.

How much time should I plan?

We recommend about 1-1.5 hours (without arrival and departure).

Who is organizing the Krems Teddy Bear Hospital?

It is organized by the Austrian Medical Student Association Krems (AMSA). AMSA Krems organizes the teddy bear hospital Krems in cooperation with the Karl Landsteiner private university and the university hospital Krems.

In which languages can you visit the teddy bear hospital?

Our students speak both German and English. This means that the teddy bear hospital can also be held in English. You are welcome to register your class in advance with the English language preference or simply notify the respective TeddyDoc directly at the Teddy Bear Hospital.

Does the teddy bear hospital cost anything?

No, it's free. It is funded by sponsors and made possible by the volunteer work of those involved.
